When you think about it, many couples today are getting married later in life and most are already living together before they get married. A lot of these couples feel that they already have most of everything they need for the home so giving money they can use towards their wedding or honeymoon is a simple alternative to giving them a gift they may not need.
If you don’t like the idea of just giving money, then you might like to combine the two: you could buy a small gift, like a beautiful photo frame, and then put the money inside.
